One of the things that are different in Europe is the size of cars. The roads are a lot smaller the the US, so the cars are smaller too.
This is a food truck in Funchal, Madeira. All he sold was coffee, but it was fresh made to order. The cab of the truck is so small I’m not sure how the guy got in to drive it place to place. Don’t see that in the US 😀
This week’s Cee’s Foto Fun Challenge (CFFC) is the letter C- the C word needs to be at least 4 letters in length.
I took this picture because of the unusual sculpture on the ground, but after taking it I realized that the cable car was right above the sculpture. I really like the way it turned out.
Here is another view of the cable car.
Funchal Madeira is known for its painted doors. They are fun to see. Here are a couple more.
I like the way the door knocker looks like part of her hair and the handle and key lock are bubbles.
When posting a picture a day it is sometimes hard to come up with which ones I want to post. So I’m always looking for ways to help with that. I have found one good source is WordPress’s The Daily Post. One of the resource they have is a weekly photo prompt. This week’s is corner.
So here is my loose interpretation of this prompt.
This spring we were on a transatlantic cruise and one of our stops was Funchal, Madeira. Funchal is known for its painted doors. They were really interesting. This is one of the buildings that had been painted. It is hard to tell what is painting and what is real. Since it is on a corner and you can see the corner of the building I’m going to use it for the prompt.
