Thursday Doors

I found another challenge at Norm 2.0 called Thursday Doors. It pretty explanatory you’re just supposed to post a picture of a door sometime between Thursdays and Sundays.

I always seem to take picture of doors and mailboxes wherever we go so I thought it would be fun to start posting them.

This door was in Valldemossa, Spain

This week the prompt at The Daily Post is Serene. This word can mean something different to anyone that hears the word. It could be a lonely beach, a sunrise, a sunset, a park bench, etc.

This is a picture of the garden area of the Bed & Breakfast we stay at in Rome, Italy. We really love this area. It is peaceful and Serene place to sit after a long, hot day of sightseeing. We usually have cheese, fruit, bread and a glass of wine, to recharge before heading out again for the evening. It is one of our favorite places to be.

The prompt at Dutch Goes the Photo this week is Build. The obvious choice for this word would be something under construction. But I decided to use this picture of a building in downtown San Diego. This building is all brick construction. It is a very beautiful building. They don’t Build them like this anymore.

Last week at Dutch Goes the Photo the prompt was Progress. I missed it but thought I’d post this picture anyway.

These windmills are by the freeway in California. They sure have changed since the old wooden ones. These are more efficient , making electricity, but I like the look of the old wooden ones better
